Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationSharif Mahmud Khalid is an academic and policy scholar whose work bridges corporate governance, finance, and social responsibility. He has held senior academic positions at the University of Sheffield and Queen’s University Belfast and is currently an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance at the Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia (UK).His research primarily explores Corporate Governance, ESG, and Social Responsibility from a critical, interdisciplinary standpoint. He has published extensively in high-impact journals, including those covering Corporate Governance, Accounting and Finance, Management, and Business Ethics. Sharif has a specific focus on the development of Africa, frontier, and emerging markets. His broader research interests encompass Corporate Governance, International Tax Policy, Extractive Sector Governance, Corporate and Commercial Law, International Trade, Political Accountability, and Sustainable Development. In addition to being a qualified Mediator, he serves on the British Accounting and Finance Association’s Special Interest Group on Corporate Governance and is an Associate Editor for QualitativeResearch in Financial Markets. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). Sharif holds a BA (Hons), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), an MSc in Energy Management.
