OverviewPeople with disabilities often find themselves in situations with so many worries, concerns and obstacles that they do not know where to focus their concentration first. Society in turn often focuses on those things as total negative attributes, instead of as life experiences that may help society progress. This series of essays are lenses of observation in which I focus my research and critique of societyas judgement of persons with disabilities in hopes of refocusing its critique of us. I try to make some basic suggestions on how to bring our needs more in focus for general members of society. Instead of criticizing the things that cannot be accomplished because of disability, focus on those things that can be done with the attributes that a client, potential employee, or family member has to offer.
