In 'The Sound of Music, ' Maria (Julie Andrews) makes a profound statement: 'Nothing comes from nothing. Nothing ever could.' Yet there was not 'Nothing!' The raw materials were there. 'Genesis' informs us that Planet Earth already existed, although it was empty, shapeless and covered in water. However, a majestic Creator was planning a masterpiece, and he didn't need 4.6 billion years - just 6 days to breathe life into his beautiful handiwork! There are far more questions than answers in the Theory of Evolution. When Charles Darwin first suggested the idea of a gradual, accidental, purposeless progression to be the pseudo-scientific explanation of how life began, he said that if the intermediate links between the well-defined species were not found, his proposition would have been disproved. So the Theory of Evolution has collapsed because no credible missing links have been unearthed, though there have been numerous false claims and deliberate hoaxes! Evolution remains just a theory, propped up and maintained by the Media and a host of deluded 'scientists, ' who badly want it to be true! Its credibility depends largely on its four point six billion year timescale. It's such a vast length of time that people could be led to imagine that in a few billion years anything might be possible. It also provides a very neat way of avoiding the Bible's claim that God created the world and everything else. A few people stand on the fence and say God did it all through evolution, but he did not say in 'Genesis' that he used that method! He acts in a very deliberate, intentional way, not operating by chance mutations or 'survival of the fittest, ' but by intricate design. In this book I examine many false claims and anomalies employed to bolster up the Theory of Evolution. In contrast to all that I show that the Bible reveals how and when God made everything happen. It turns out there were two 'Beginnings.' There was the initial creation of the male and female of every kind of creature, culminating in man and woman. Then God almost went back to square one! The second 'Beginning' was when he flooded the whole world, which was just one large land mass at that point. He drowned or buried with mud all except eight people and a pair of each land creature. Most sea-life survived! That catastrophic event took place in 2455 BC. Using the unambiguous numerical data in the Bible, I've demonstrated how to work back from known historical events to the year of the global flood and ultimately back to the creation of life.
