She has made creative thinking her life long practice, and believes by reconnecting with our playful child-like spirit we can reveal our most magnificent creative self. Nancy's creativity and passion for helping children led to the creation of the first YMCA Montessori School. Nancy is also credited with being the driving force behind the Imaginarium - a workspace for the creative arts, and for the creation of the ""Community Happiness Project"" at the Kennett Square, Pennsylvania YMCA. After authoring three children's books, Nancy kicked off an initiative called Alive, which provides yoga, gardening, art, and healthy living workshops to schools and organizations in local communities. Her joyful seminars on ""creativity and mindfulness"" have brought new learning to so many seeking a path to greater well-being, as have her ongoing workshops in Art and Creative Writing. Nancy's love of teaching began with a M.A. degree from Loyola College and her zeal for the creative spans several mediums.
