Author Information

Writer, poet and filmmaker. He is the author of Historias tremendas (Isla Negra 1999), Historias atroces (Isla Negra 2003) and the novels La cabeza (Isla Negra 2005), Trance (Editorial Norma 2007), Saga de Sandulce (Editorial Norma 2009) and Malas hierbas (Zemi Book 2011); all have acquired cult status. He has participated in numerous international anthologies such as La Cervantíada, Manual de Fin de Siglo, El arca, Literatura puertorriqueña del siglo XX, En el ojo del huracán and others. He has lived in Spain, United States, Haiti and Puerto Rico. He currently resides in Santo Domingo, where he is Profesor Titular at the Universidad Iberoamericana and runs the media production company Heart of Gold Films.
