Walt Gasson is a fourth generation Wyoming native, sustained by the water of the Green River since birth. He has worked to protect and preserve the wild lands of the West for 47 years in government, non-profits and in the private sector. His award-winning essays have been published in TROUT Magazine, Wyoming Wildlife Magazine, High Country News and Wyoming Rural Electric News. He lives with his wife Kim in Laramie, WY
