He first encountered the Brontes when asked to read 'Wuthering Heights' during his first week at University; it was the beginning of a lifelong love for the writing family who have become synonymous with his native Yorkshire. He is now a renowned biographer, whose previous books include 'In Search of Anne Bronte' (2016) and 'Emily Bronte A Life in 20 Poems' (2017), both published by The History Press, as well as 'Aunt Branwell and the Bronte Legacy' (Pen & Sword, 2018). In 2016 he became the first author to complete a book signing in the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth, and he has since given lectures on the Brontes nationwide.
