Die eine Richtung entwickelte den in den Bildern von 1515 und 1518 ganz bestimmt ausgepr gten Stil Lucas Cranachs in nat rlicher Weise weiter und liess sich auch noch ber das Jahr 1537 hinaus verfolgen, die andere setzte ohne Zusammenhang mit den vor 1520 entstandenen Bildern Lucas Cranachs um 1525 fast unvermittelt ein und brach beim Jahre 1537 ah.
