Overview

The doctor is touched by their lives and stories.

With humor, candor, and subtle emotion the author gives the reader a moment of medical nostalgia that perhaps some would call the Golden Age of medical care. However, young doctors and other caregivers can learn much from Dr. Harry Byrd's encounters and bedside manner. Today we must strive to save the art of medicine, while employing the newest technologies.
