Batsielilit is an eye-opening journey and a reflection on the mismanagement that made Covid-19 into a worldwide pandemic for what felt like 2 years too long. I really liked how the author also included a past evaluation on the state of Covid-19 in these countries, which gave a short but sufficient overview of the overall condition of Covid-19 in the respective countries, along with a look at the multiple variations of Coronaviruses. Aside from the in-depth explanations of Covid-19 over denial by leading figures and the public in these developing countries, Dr. Hugues F. Batsielilit also stressed that precautionary measures should still be taken to ensure that another surge of cases does not happen. The emphasis on this area shows the severity of the virus but also gives hope that a sense of normalcy will return, albeit a little different. This combined with in-depth research leads to the revelation of interesting discoveries. Not all the discoveries he found were beneficial, he uncovered a lot of conspiracy theories and discusses those as well in order to debunk the myth for readers.

Dr. Hugues Fidele Batsielilit, Ph.D., is the President and CEO of the International Consulting Aid Network (ICAN). He works as an emergency management specialist focusing on health, public health issues, and post disaster impacts (Federal Emergency Management Agency). Dr. Batsielilit has served as an expert international consultant in public health surveillance and a communicable disease specialist (The Peace Corps, and ICAN), a healthcare administrator, and a community health coordinator for more than ten years.He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the National Institute of Executives, a Master of Sciences and a Ph.D. in public health and healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix in Arizona. Additionally, Dr. Batsielilit, holds an Associate's degree in medical logistics from Fort Lee Military Academy in Virginia. He served in the United States Army from 2008 to 2012, where he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Medical Division as a medical logistics specialist.
