Senior Lecturer (0.4 WTE) Faculty of Health, Education & Life Sciences Birmingham City University Senior Teaching Fellow (Global Health) (0.6 WTE) Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery & Palliative Care King's College London Prior to joining the Army, Major Carter held several clinical, leadership and teaching positions in the NHS and aviation. It was during this period he completed his specialist critical care course at King's College London. Roles included Staff Nurse (Intensive Care), Critical Care Outreach Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Site Management and Resuscitation Officer (Adult, Paediatric & Neonatal).
