Stacey Ritz and Amy Beatty spent years volunteering in numerous shelters/pounds and working in kennels and veterinary hospitals prior to founding Advocates 4 Animals. It was while walking city shelter dogs down a gravel alley that the pair decided to officially open Advocates 4 Animals. Understanding the overwhelming amount of animals in need of assistance, Beatty and Ritz began their journey, forging their own unique path. Leaders in the No Kill Movement, Beatty and Ritz work tirelessly to educate, promote and inspire animal shelters, county pounds and communities to embrace life-saving, humane techniques of rescuing, rehabilitating, altering and ultimately adopting pets into well-matched forever homes.
