Dr. High has served U.S. churches in Indiana, Oklahoma, Florida and Maryland. For Almost 20 years he served as a church planter and educator with West Indies Christian Mission, a mission they founded in 1984. Dr. High served as the executive director, pastor and teacher until January 2004. As a missionary Dr High worked throughout the West Indies but was stationed primarily in the US Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic. He and his co-workers began 7 congregations in the Caribbean, training local men as leaders and pastors. WICM left the churches with indigenous governance and leadership. While with WICM Dr. High also worked as a teacher/missionary in St. Vincent, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Martinique, St. Kits & Nevis and Mexico. Dr. High founded the Latin American Bible Institute in 1999 and served in the position of Director of Curriculum Development until January 2004. In this position he was responsible for the development of Spanish language video & printed pastor training curriculum for field training of Hispanic pastors and leaders. His material has been used in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Florida, Panama, Honduras, Chile and Peru.
