ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. Ron Brown has served as the Executive Director for a Youth for Christ chapter and as Executive Pastor at churches in Illinois and Tennessee. Ron is also an adjunct professor of Leadership and Organizational Studies at Greenville University and Multnomah University. Ron has his PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, VA; Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois; and a Masters of Religion from Trinity International University, IL.

Sometimes, not often, just sometimes, we read words of faith and know that we are reading Truth. This was my experience from the onset while reading Courageous Faith. Ron describes life honestly; the choices, the struggles, the doubts, the uncertainty and infuses that with the hope that only faith, courage and perseverance can bring. Because of his honest acknowledgement of the trials that life brings, and how difficult it is to choose well, I felt connection to others. It is not me alone in my struggles, it is us, and this book gives us tools to navigate those hard times and believe in our own best ending. I have known Ron for several years, in the capacity of a church leader and as a friend. His book rings true to how I experience him as that leader. He is a courageous leader. I have seen him make difficult choices because he believes it is morally right and I've also seen him pay the price for those choices.
