He holds a Bravery Medal and an Order of Australia Medal for his efforts as well as three Australia Day Awards, the Australian National Medal and the Conspicuous Service Medal. Kevin is an Australian ambassador for several notable charities including Bravery Trust (supporting military veterans), White Ribbon International (violence against women), Black Dog Institute (mental health) and is an Australia Day ambassador for Queensland. He is also the Founder of the Endangered Species Supporters Australia.
