Author Information

Angie O'Gieblyn holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling with a Teaching Specialization from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. At the time of publication, she is entering her fifth year of full-time teaching in counselor education. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a clinician in college counseling centers and a group private practice. Her teaching and research interests include counselor identity development, ethics, empathy, attachment theory, mentoring, holistic student development, and creativity in the classroom.
