Overview

The 5th ed. of Mediterranean Spain Costas del Azahar, Dorada and Brava is now in the same format as the RCC Pilotage Foundation's other pilots for Spain. Coverage now includes the southern ports of Javea and Denia. Important when leaving the mainland coast for the Balearics. Updated aerial photos, and new yacht harbours are now included, including the alterations at Valencia associated with the America's Cup. The Spanish Mediterranean coast has had considerable development recently and many harbours have been altered to provide more berths for yachts, and where change is still in progress illustrations have been added to show the likely final configuration of breakwaters and pontoons. This guide remains the only detailed pilot for the northern part of the Spanish Mediterranean coast up to the border of France. It covers a varied cruising area that includes the low lying Ebro delta and the rugged Costa Brava. In between are several great cities like Barcelona, the Catalan capital.
