Author Information

Edward has long been a student of science, served 30 years as an environmental engineer, and is an avid astrophotographer. Now with grandchildren, Edward is wanting to share a gift that was presented to him as a child. His mother, a children's librarian, once gave Edward a book called Stars which at a young age captivated his mind. Later he was further inspired by Carl Sagan with his series and book Cosmos. As a young boy, Edward attended Carl Sagan's Planitary Society and presented Astronomy projects at Cornel Science Fairs. Edward's wish now is to give children a chance to be inspired at an early age by what they discover in looking up at the sky at night. In this age of the human race travelling off our humble planet, inspiring the next generation is more important than ever.
