Circle of Cosmic Chaos There are some questions concerning the origin of this mysterious device. Found deep within a cave in the northern regions of the Occidentales Montes Range, the powerful item was brought to the University of Mystical and Metaphysical Knowledge. The luminous red ring was encased in ice and rock when it arrived. It took several days to break the casing around it, strangely hardened beyond anything we had ever seen. Once we removed the hard shell, cleaned and polished it, it was immediately apparent that this was an object of incredible power. Alimnirea and I took possession of the ring. We worked together, encasing the item in a magical shield, protecting ourselves from its effects. Within the shield, we were able to study the device, noting the runes and fine script carved within the unusual metal. Neither of us was able to immediately translate the words since their language was unknown to us. After much work, we learned of its abilities. The Circle of Cosmic Chaos, in the hand of its possessor, can be used to control the thoughts and dreams of an adversary, destroying their minds with horrendous nightmares, causing the enemy to torture themselves to their own demise. We believe from what we have seen that this destructive tool will take control of its user, becoming master, and drive them insane, resulting in their death. Once left uncontrolled, it will target all creatures near it, growing stronger, until there are none left alive. I believe the Circle of Cosmic Chaos should be removed from the world, taken to a dimension where it will pose no threat. I am currently researching this possibility. Rahilfous
