Molten flux now taints every corner of the Droughtlands. It's taken on strange and bizarre forms, going beyond the silver liquid it was once known for. It infests towns and factories, forcing droves of refugees to the walls of Breggesa, a city already under strain. It's even imitating the forms of those who know it best. Something that's driven Ryza into a self-imposed exile. Along with the League of Revance, the remnants of the conscripts still willing to follow him, Ryza hunts down the last of the flux traders that caused this nightmare. He knows it'll solve nothing, that the bounty on their heads is paltry, but it's only when the capture of a flux trader goes tragically wrong that Ryza realises how futile it all is.
