Franco is the owner of Franco Corrosion Consulting, LLC, which specializes in consulting to oil and gas producers and pipeline companies. Bob is a 50-year Life Member of NACE International who retired from ExxonMobil Production Co. in December 2012 after over 43 years in materials engineering and corrosion control with various Exxon and ExxonMobil companies in both downstream and upstream businesses. At retirement, Bob was the Senior Technical Materials & Corrosion Consultant-the highest technical position for this engineering discipline. His duties at ExxonMobil Production Co. included responsibility for improving and stewarding global corrosion control and mechanical integrity programs for upstream operations, and maintaining and growing the company's global corrosion network. His current consulting business includes internal corrosion control in upstream and midstream oil and gas transmission pipelines, development of risk-based inspection strategies for sour upstream operations, and instructing in-house corrosion engineering courses. Bob has published articles and conference papers on corrosion and failure analysis. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey and California. Timothy Bieri is a Principal Corrosion Management Engineer with BP America's Upstream Engineering Center. He has been with BP for 16 years and currently provides technical support to global projects and operations. In addition, Tim also contributes to the health of the corrosion discipline, standards and practice, and integrated corrosion management. Prior to joining BP, Tim worked for the consulting engineering firms CC Technologies and Coffman Engineers for a combined 13 years. He has been an active member of NACE International for more than 25 years and has participated on several committees, as well as served on the Board of Directors. In addition, he is a NACE certified CP Specialist and Internal Corrosion Specialist. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in Alaska.
