Reviews

This book is about deeper insights in the multi-faceted world of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, two related concepts which remain too abstract all too often. The authors participated in the corporate world, proposed new methods and metrics, helped develop them, and reflected on the progress made. The book offers all of that, an assessment of where we are now. -- Wim Hafkamp, director of the Erasmus University International Off-Campus PhD Program on Cleaner Production, Cleaner Production, Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development, The Netherlands In recent times, churches have developed an increasing concern for sustainability. I welcome this book as it can help stimulate the interchurch and interreligious dialogue on how sustainability can be promoted. Care for creation and love for people are basic ingredients of our faith. But, they have to be actively applied to the modern world. This book is about doing that. -- Theo van Driel MA, chairman of the Apeldoorn Consultative Board of Churches, The Netherlands
