Corporate Sustainability has been a hot topic lately, due to the climate changes that have been occurring, leading companies to increasingly seek to adapt to the new socio-environmental context, both because it is a pressing environmental necessity and because it is highly relevant to their survival and competitiveness. This book is a case study of a soybean processing industry in the state of Piauí - Indústrias Dureino S/A. It aims to address the three pillars of corporate sustainability - ES (environmental, social, and economic) and the consequences of adopting them in the cost structure; to ascertain whether there is in fact practical application in the company; as well as to demonstrate its impact on industrial costs in 2013 and the first half of 2014. The results obtained will demonstrate whether the company complies with the assumptions of corporate sustainability, that is, whether it is Corporate Sustainable (CS).
