OverviewDedicated to the American consumer, Cornucopia is a retrospect glimpse inside the American psyche. A look at ourselves that we cannot afford to turn away from. It is a social and cultural exposé going backward through time and space to a conspicuous world of the past where the foundations of world geopolitics shifted on fault lines, wholly, unfamiliar to us. When the Berlin Wall came crumbling down and Mikhail Gorbachev, President of The Soviet Union, trekked to the United States, hat in hand, and commingled with everyday Americans, while Raisa Gorbachev shopped inside our grocery stores. Taken together, the sum of this cornucopias is greater than its parts. The implications for America's future are dire. Thirty years from now The Planet Earth may be devastated by climate changes triggered by our in-actions of today. But it's not too late. The network of relationships making a coherent whole existing between individuals and groups all over the globe, is resilient. I have employed a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language in order to create a parallax, as it were, back into our not so distant past so that through it we may be able to project more clearly into the future.
