She holds English and secondary education degrees from Wartburg College and taught English at the middle school, high school and college levels for 12 years before retiring to focus on a career in creative arts. She currently resides in Atlanta, Ga., with her husband and three fur babies. Marianne Walker is the product director for Imagination International Inc., where she develops product publications and certification manuals. She also travels throughout the United States teaching drawing and coloring classes at trade shows, stores and art schools. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in multimedia design and a minor in journalism/advertising.
