Cool Kids Speak English has been written with primary school aged children in mind (7-11 year olds) by a qualified and experienced foreign languages teacher. This book is filled full of fun worksheets, wonderful word searches and lovely colouring pages and is ideal for children learning English as a foreign language. The topics covered in this book include Greetings, Introductions, Numbers, Colours, Pets, Clothes and Weather. Each topic begins with a page full of images and the English words for the topic. Progression throughout each of the topics has been carefully planned as the activities practice only a few of the new words at any one time, and gradually introduce simple sentence structures. At the back of the book there is the answer section. Learning a new foreign language at an early age can be an enjoyable and useful experience, and this book would be a great way for any child to learn English.

Joanne Leyland is a qualified and experienced foreign languages teacher, and really enjoys teaching foreign languages in primary schools. She has now created the Cool Kids Speak Foreign Languages range of books, and these books are an ideal introduction to a foreign language.
