In 1963, She lives with her husband and two daughters in Zoetermeer and worked there as a kindergarten teacher in the school Schrijverke. She only became a teacher later in life. She took the role of a mother in school and found life in the classroom to be as fun and challenging. That is why she decided to pursue it and train as a teaching assistant. But, it does not stop there. In 2006, she graduated from training as a teacher. Her inspiration comes from the enthusiasm of the children with whom she enjoys working with daily.
