Today is RED day! Mrs. Sheff was so excited to celebrate this colorful day. To most red makes them think of love, but to MRs. Sheff it is one of the colors of the rainbow and important to eat each day. Today would be the perfect time to teach her students about delicious red foods and their importance to our bodies. Cindy Sardo is a teacher at heart especially when it comes to teaching children to cook and eat healthy. Her inspirations to write these children's cook books are many, but her finicky eater, Sarah, has been the greatest. Before becoming a mom, she was a fourth grade classroom teacher for ten years. These experiences made for an excellent recipe to begin writing the Cooking's Cool collection. When she is not writing recipes or cooking creative meals for her family, she can be found around town with three little ladies-Emily, Julia and Sarah.
