Author Information

The author started cooking long before she can do math. One afternoon in the kitchen in their family home in Quezon City, she cut potatoes into chunks and dunked them into hot cooking oil. Few minutes later, she ate her first dish-French fries-right off the frying pan. She was 6 years old then and she never stopped cooking since. She spends most of her free time trying new dishes, recreating them in her kitchen, creating new recipes, and much like this book, sharing those she memorized by heart. Cooking is the author's love language with family and friends, and expression of warmth in welcoming new acquaintances. The author is currently a businesswoman, a lawyer, and always the 6-year old kid cooking French fries in the kitchen.
