n addition to working in the Tulane archives, Abbye A. Gorin is an architectural researcher, writer, and photographer. She earned her BFA from University of Texas at Austin, her MS from University of New Orleans, and her PhD from Virginia Tech. She is a recipient of a Whos Who award and has written numerous books on the subject of architecture. She is also the author of Learning From Samuel Wilson, Jr. Gorin resides in Metairie, Louisiana.
