Overview

The comforting story of two people who find that not all of life's problems have solutions. But it's okay --when you have someone who will talk it over with you. Friends gather in pairs or small groups across the Stillwater Café, a bright, welcoming coffee house near the South Gates of LSU's Baton Rouge campus. Catering to both students and nearby community members, the Stillwater thrives on not being a soulless, corporate chain that serves over priced, overly sweet 'coffee flavored concoctions' and premade, previously frozen baked goods. Rather the Stillwater is the quintessential small town café, full of comfortable couches, well used, often patched love seats, overstuffed, cradling chairs, and a myriad of eclectic tables that come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Hashi and Flint have most certainly crossed paths in the Stillwater on many different Sunday mornings prior to this one. They are both creatures of habit who enjoy the ritual of routine. But this Sunday, is the first Sunday that random chance and a kindred spirit help them to actually speak to each other. And what a fortuitous event that turns out to be.
