Nikki initially trained at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia, and now runs her own business based in Napier, New Zealand, designing knitwear and knitting patterns. She also has her very own brand of yarn, Wooli. Nikki's approach to hand-making is about building structures that experiment with techniques and form, and through this process she produces stylish, constructed knitting designs that each wearer can render completely unique.
