Overview

This book is a workbook for the subject of...death. Do you notice a clenching in heart and stomach at the word? You can talk to that in this book. This book is there to push your envelope. Feel free to flip around to the parts that catch your attention. It is filled with information that for many people is at the edge or outside of where they have till now filled their thoughts, or ever wanted to. But then, dying itself is a place most people put off thinking about until the last minute, and think they have never been before, can't know anything about beforehand, and may never go to again. But is it really so strange, fearsome, and unknown? Read on to find out.

Author Information

I am on the sunny side of 60 (and which side is that? you may ask), and have experience in various directions, including registered nurse (30 years), taxi driver, waiter, lay pastor, meditation teacher, dock worker, artists' model. I married the same beautiful woman twice; I live with her in Hamburg, Germany. My first contact with death outside my family-besides the bugs that I blew to smithereens with firecrackers when I was a kid-came in my work in home health care in 1999. So many people out there tapping their white canes into the void...and it is a privilege to be allowed to accompany them.
