I find Joy's Manne book particularly beneficial for those, who find it difficult to trust the process and have a need to understand everything in a cognitive way. Many of my clients try hard to rationalise everything and I find myself colluding with them trying to explain far too much. Conscious Breathing in Everyday Life freed me from it. It is simple and very practical. One does not have to believe Manne but experiment and trust one's own body. That's the essence of the Breathwork.
