Elder Steppi (Stephanie) Gartrella Pulley was born and reared in Spring Hope, North Carolina. She was educated in the public school system of Nash County. Elder Pulley is a 1969 graduate of the Spaulding High School, Spring Hope, North Carolina. Elder Pulley was married to Clinton Pulley for twenty-seven (27) years and to this union two (2) siblings were born: Ernie who resides in Spring Hope, and Sonya who resides in Wilson, North Carolina, respectively. Elder Pulley continued to educate herself and graduated from Shaw University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy and at present is pursuing a Master's of Divinity. Elder Pulley was ordained as Elder in 2007 and presently serves as an associate minister at the Martin Street Baptist Church, Raleigh NC where Dr. Earl C. Johnson is the senior pastor. Elder Pulley is a committed and dedicated Christian and has much knowledge, wisdom and zeal as she minister to and in the body of Jesus Christ. Elder Pulley is a Poet and continues to share this gift of writing for different occasions.
