He has been teaching courses on STEM education and public engagement with STEM since 2006. He is the founding editor of the Journal of Research in STEM Education. Mehmet Fatih Tasar is a Professor of Science Education at Gazi University, Türkiye, and Georgia State University, USA. He is the chief editor of The International Handbook of Physics Education Research published by American Institute of Physics Publishing.
