Author Information

David J. Rabotnick, born in Detroit in 1969, has always embraced humor to navigate life's challenges. Diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's Disease in December 2013, he applied this philosophy to confront his condition. A registered nurse, he turned to magic as a form of physical therapy and founded a non-profit to raise awareness. He hosts an annual magic show to fund research and performs at the renowned Magic Castle in Hollywood. After undergoing brain surgery for a Deep Brain Stimulator, he regained his ability to perform and continues to advocate for Parkinson's patients, sharing hope through magic.
