Overview

Herein lies a challenge for all. From casual philosophers to hardcore scientists, everyone is welcome to join in the pursuit. We must re-evaluate the current scientific model. Starting from scratch, we must build a scientific model that begins with the observer and works its way outward. The most direct experiences that a person has are in the form of mental phenomena - thoughts and sensations. This is the data that the individual observer analyzes and seeks to explain through the use of science. Does science need to assume the existence of non-mental entities lying outside of our minds? Surely, it does not. Where would science take us if we disallowed such an assumption? Conjecture of Self is an introduction to a scientific model of reality that does not rely upon this unnecessary assumption. The model of reality introduced in this book is not only scientifically testable - it is also surprisingly desirable. Perhaps the universe is more like our dreams than we have ever dared to believe.
