OverviewIn Confessions of a Mafia Boss Bloodshed on Broadway II: The Ghost Writer, Red Russell continues to follow the path of true mafia bosses, and the consequences are brutal. More people die as those who cross Red Russell learn that survival is never guaranteed. In part two of this Nashville, Tn. based thriller, Red faces two serious threats. The first is a political movement known as The Broadway Redevelopment. City leaders plan to demolish historic buildings on Printer's Alley in downtown Nashville. They want to make room for new tourist attractions, but Printer's Alley is the location of the Copperhead Press, the center of Red Russell's illegal empire. As the redevelopment gains momentum, Red responds in the only way he knows how. One by one, the three leaders behind the plan face his revenge. One is framed. One is sent to prison on fabricated lies. One is executed in a violent attack on I-24. Red's second problem is more personal and far more dangerous. A ghost writer publishes a book listing Red Russell as the author, deliberately attempting to ignite a war between Red and a powerful New Orleans mafia boss. The ghost writer's motive is revenge for his brother's death. But the outcome he expects never unfolds the way he planned. The same characters from Book One return in Book Two, pulling the story deeper into darkness. Thirsty, Bullet, Newt, Tauna, Caro, Slim, Cooter, The Fox, and Red Russell continue carving a path of destruction that guarantees each of them a place in hell. Elle is present again as well, but unlike the others, she manages to stay clear of any sinful deeds. As revenge escalates and secrets refuse to stay buried, Red Russell learns that power offers no protection from consequence. In Bloodshed on Broadway II: The Ghost Writer, loyalty is fragile, truth is lethal, and survival is never guaranteed.
