I was born at the foot of Mt. Rainier. Well, that's a fib. I was born in a hospital at the foot of Mt. Rainier. (Mom's always been a good sport, but she has her limits.) Growing up in Kansas City, MO, music was a big part of our family life. As an adult, I discovered barbershop harmony. As a card-carrying baritone I sang in several choruses and as part of a quartet.
