Luisa Vera graduated with a degree in fine arts and moved to New York, where she continued her illustration studies at the School of Visual Arts. Since 1990, she has dedicated herself professionally to illustration, collaborating with media outlets such as The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, The Wall Street Journal, The International Herald Tibune, La Vanguardia, and El País. She has also illustrated book covers, posters, catalogues, children's stories, and exhibitions.
