Author Information

Efim N. Rosenwasser is head of the chair for automated ship complex at the Marine Technical University in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Professor Rosenwasser is one of the leading Russian control scientists. He is the author of more than 300 publications including 16 monographs. The late Bernhard P. Lampe was full professor for automatic control at the Institute of Automation, Department Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Rostock, Germany. Professor Lampe was initiator and leader of numerous research projects in theory and application of advanced control methods, as well as author and co-author of more than 250 publications including 6 monographs. Torsten Jeinsch has been working in the field of control engineering in research, teaching and industry for more than 20 years. Currently he is full professor at the University of Rostock and head of the Control Application Center. He is the author of more than 100 papers and holds 9 patents.  In cooperation both authors wrote the monographs Computer Controlled Systems (Springer, 2000) and Multivariable Computer-controlled Systems (Springer 2006).
