Overview

On June 18-20, 2009 the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS-International) has met in Boston for their 9th Annual Meeting. This conference brought together surgeons, researchers, and industry representatives with interest in topics such as orthopaedic surgical navigation and robotics, pre-operative digital templating and planning, image analysis and processing, orthopaedic databases and documentation, intelligent instrumentation, and minimally invasive approaches. This book contains the abstracts of those 89 talks and 148 posters that have been presented during the 9th Annual CAOS-International Meeting. They have been placed in order according to their presentation sequence during the meeting. In addition, a full authors listing and a keyword index at the end of the book is available that will make it easier to find a specific abstract.
