Valerij Alekseyevich Zharkov is a doctor of technical sciences and has an engineering diploma from Russia's best technical university: The Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Bauman MSTU). Dr. Zharkov worked at automobile industry scientific-research institutes in Moscow for 20 years. He has developed the engineering theory of stamping the sheets, strips, and profiles with analytical dependences and realization on computers and on the basis of this has also developed methodology for computer modeling of stamping operations in CAE systems. He has published more than 30 books, over 100 articles, and more than 50 patents for inventions in various industries. Dr. Zharkov is a leading international expert on computer modeling of Y of material stamping operations.
