He went on to a postdoctoral at the University of California, Berkeley to study enolate chemistry followed by a second postdoctoral at York University to explore the synthesis of nucleoside analogues. Dr. Wang is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, with research interests in photochemistry, nucleosides, heterocycles, computational chemistry, and material science.
