He is the recipient of the United States National Distinguished Disability Researcher Award and the author of Early Intervention: The Essential Readings. He lives in St. Catharines, Canada. Marjorie Aunos, PhD, CPsych, is a psychologist and coordinator in a specialized services unit of the West Montreal Readaptation Center, a rehabilitation center for persons with intellectual disabilities in Quebec.
