Nader D Nader is a professor of Anesthesiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo and a research professor of Pathology at the same institution. His true interest lies in teaching other individual in the field of Anesthesiology and Pain medicine. He is well versed in both basic science research and clinical research and he has published several articles ranging from animal models of pain to clinical aspects of pain in patients. The special concentration of his research involves investigating the role of proinflammatory cytokines in different types of pain and the mechanisms that makes these patients prone to depression. Clinically, Dr Nader is active in providing perioperative anesthesia in addition to the care for chronic benign and malignant pain syndromes. Dr. Naders practice is more prominent in use neuromodulation techniques in treating veterans with chronic pain.
