Overview

Each piece aims to capture the fleeting nature of a moment: the sensory effect of a scene from the author's life rather than its detailed accuracy. Angela Brown is a poet and published author from the Detroit area. She earned a Master of Arts in Performance Studies from Eastern Michigan University. She has an extensive background in public speaking, and Ethnographical/Auto-ethnographical Performance. Angela has published poetry in Eastern Michigan University's Cellar Roots Literary Magazine; and is a featured poet in UK's Wheelsong Books Invisible Poets anthology collection 6. She has published articles in The Metro Times, Natural Awakenings, and The Body, Mind, & Spirit Guide Detroit area publications.
