He has previously worked as a schoolteacher, a teacher of children and adolescents with autism, and a coordinator of a respite care service for people with a disability. Karen Nankervis is the Head of Division, Disability Studies, in the School of Health Sciences at RMT University, Melbourne, Karen has more than 20 years' experience in providing support to people with disabilities.
