He holds a Ph.D. in public affairs and an M.A. in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. Jill Viglione is an associate professor of criminal justice at the University of Central Florida. She holds a Ph.D. in criminology, law, and society from George Mason University and an M.A. in criminology, law, and society from Villanova University. Faye S. Taxman is a professor at George Mason University and the director of The Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence.
